A few weeks ago I made cupcakes with the girls. For the most part Sofi handed me a few ingredients (she's recently moved up to cracking eggs) and then helped with the decorations. Ofelia started out a little confused about what a cupcake was and why she had to sit in her high chair.
Sofi was super excited about shaking sprinkles onto the cupcakes.
OH! You eat them! Why didn't you say?
Sofi put each sprinkle on one by one by smooshing it into the cupcake.
Ofelia thought the spatula added to the cupcake experience.
Sofi followed up sprinkle placement with a good finger cleaning. Yeah, I bet those of you who ate some of the cupcakes will think twice about accepting next time.
Ofelia was very upset when she figured out her cupcake didn't have frosting or sprinkles.
The finished masterpiece. Sofi decorated all the cupcakes, but decided in the end that this one was hers.
